Elcometer 122 consists of an uncompressed adhesive tape applied to the surface to be measured. Rubbing the adhesive tape on the surface will get the undulating surface, using the Elcometer 124 device to determine the roughness value to be measured.
Elcometer 122 has 3 defined ranges. It is very important to choose the right kind of tape, it reflects the surface to be measured, using tape that is lower than the actual measurement value will provide the wrong value.
Measuring range: 38-115 (μm)
