>> Vernier Calipers
- The Vernier Calipers is a multi-purpose measuring instrument, used to measure the outer dimensions, the inner dimensions and the depth measurements with high accuracy, and relatively easy to use.

>> Other information
The caliper is a relatively accurate measuring instrument, widely used in major industries such as mechanical engineering, plastic, wood or aluminum and glass.
♦ Structure of calipers
The limit of gauge is 150mm, 200mm, 300mm, 500mm, 1000mm.
Values on main body, spacing each line equal to 1 mm.
The value on the sub-dimension is equal to the ruler accuracy. Rulers accuracy: 0.1 mm, 0.05 mm, 0.02 mm.

♦ Classification of calipers
Calipers are categorized based on characteristics and accuracy.
About the caliper characteristics are divided into 3 types:

> Clock clamp: display the measurement results on the digital dial.
> Mechanical caliper: displays measurement results on mechanical bar.
> Electronic caliper: display measurement results on electronic watch face.
> The caliper accuracy is divided into categories such as 1/10, 1/20, 1/50.

♦ How to use the caliper correctly?
When using a caliper you need to take care to take these steps to get accurate results.

> Before using, you need to check if the ruler is correct by dragging the chain back to the original 0 position.
> You should then check whether the measuring surface is clean.
> When taking the measurement you need to keep the 2 planes of the ruler parallel to the plane of the object being measured.
> If you want to take the ruler out of the measuring position, turn the brake nut to fix the dynamic jaw to the main body.

♦ How to preserve the clamp
How to preserve your calipers, to prolong product life and maintain gauge accuracy you need to remember the following:

> Do not measure objects in motion with a caliper.
> Do not measure rough and dirty objects.
> Do not force the network of two gauges against the measuring object.
> Always keep the ruler free of dust and dirt.
> Read the measured value when the ruler is measuring, limit taking the ruler out before reading the measured value.
> After use, the ruler should be placed in the correct position in the box, not on top of other objects or on top of it.
> Every day, after using it, you should clean the ruler with a clean rag and apply grease.
> Verification and calibration of the clamp should have a plan to ensure that the calipers always give accurate measurement values.
