Crimp Contraction Tester  is controlled by the computer to measure thermal crimp contraction and boiling water contraction properties of textured filament (polyester, acrylic and polypropylene). 

Crimp Contraction CC(%) = [(Lg－Lz) / Lg]×100%

Crimp Modulus CM(%) = [(Lg－Lf) / Lg]×100%

Crimp Stability CS(%) = [(Lg－Lb) / (Lg－Lz)]×100%

Test Standards: 

Its principle and performance are in accordance with GB/T6506 – 2001 <Test method of crimp contraction performance of textured filament of synthetic fiber> and GB/T6505 – 2001 <Test method of boiling water contraction rate of textured filament of synthetic fiber>, BISFA
