Product Description:

Roller type wet film thickness gauge is used to measure the thickness of paint, varnish and other coating wet film.The thickness gauge can not only be measured on the flat substrate, but also on the curved substrate.

Roller coating thickness gauge measurement method

Since it is not possible to exclude pigment particles remaining between the instrument and the substrate, all mechanical test methods contain systematic errors that indicate that the paint film thickness is at least one average diameter of the pigment particles lower than the actual wet film thickness.

The roller thickness gauge is used to accurately measure the thickness of wet film coating (paint ink, etc.).When measuring, the measuring wheel with eccentric rim is rolling on the paint film.

The eccentric rim is marked with scale, the gap gradually increases, the wheel is allowed to roll the paint during the test, the contact point of the rim indicates the thickness of the paint film
