This device is used to measure the thickness of gypsum board and/or other materials. However, different materials or sizes may require changing the testing heads. For example, testing the depth of screw thread requires needle testing heads; testing the thickness of wood or compound board requires ball testing heads.(Those accessories are not sold along with this device.)
