Founded in the United States in 1946, Tektronix develops testing and measurement solutions for a wide range of engineering applications. The company is widely recognized for its oscilloscopes and signal analysis equipment, while also offering a broad portfolio of products for electronic testing, RF, semiconductor, automotive, and high-speed electronic systems.
In September 2010, Tektronix acquired Keithley Instruments, a measurement equipment manufacturer headquartered in Solon, Ohio, USA. Keithley was subsequently integrated into the Tektronix organization and has continued to develop alongside the Tektronix brand within the same system.
Tektronix is headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon, with a global network of distributors and customer service operations.
