Color: Tan to gray
Volume: 8 oz
Features: Higher thermal conductivity and coefficient of thermal expansion; high maximum temperature rating
Applications: Coating, Embedding, Insulating
Working Life: OMEGABOND 400® cures at room temperature by air drying in 18 to 24-hr, depending upon thickness and consistency; cure time can be accelerated by low temperature oven drying at 82°C (180°F); if the cement is to be exposed to elevated temperatures, cure for 18 to 24-hr at ambient temperature, then oven dry for 4-hr at 82°C (180°F) and for an additional 4-hr at 105°C (220°F), this helps to prevent spilling.
Insulation Note: Volume Resistivity at 20°C: 10⁸-10⁹ ohm–cm;Volume Resistivity at 400°C: 10⁵-10⁶ ohm–cm;Volume Resistivity at 795°C: 10³-10⁴ ohm–cm
Dielectric Constant: 3.4 to 4.5
Mix Ratio By Weight: 1-part cement; just mix powder with water to a smooth, uniform consistency
Thermal Conductivity: 11 BTU-in/h-ft2-°F
Dielectric Strength Note: Dielectric Strength at 20°C:12.5 to 51.0 V/mil;Dielectric Strength at 400°C: ≤15 V/mil;Dielectric Strength at 795°C: ≤1.3 V/mil
Operating Temperature, Max: 1425 °C
