Estrus Detection Through Vaginal Mucus Electrical Resistance Measurement
To determine the optimal time for insemination, DRAMINSKI uses a measurement method based on changes in the electrical resistance of vaginal mucus throughout the reproductive cycle.
The DRAMINSKI Estrous Detector measures these changes using a specialized vaginal probe. The user inserts the probe into the animal's vagina, and the device displays resistance readings corresponding to physiological changes associated with the reproductive cycle.
By analyzing these readings, technicians can identify the optimal insemination window in relation to ovulation, helping improve the efficiency of artificial insemination programs.
Early Detection of Subclinical Mastitis Through Milk Electrical Resistance Measurement
Subclinical mastitis, which occurs before visible clinical symptoms appear, can cause changes in sodium (Na⁺) and chloride (Cl⁻) ion concentrations in milk, resulting in reduced electrical resistance.
The DRAMINSKI Mastitis Detector works by measuring the electrical resistance of milk samples collected separately from each teat.
When significant differences in resistance readings are detected between teats, the instrument alerts users to a potential risk of infection. This allows farmers to identify potentially affected animals, isolate them when necessary, and take timely action to prevent the spread of infection within the herd.
