KERN & SOHN is a German brand specializing in weighing and measuring equipment. The company was founded by Gottlieb Kern in 1844 in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. KERN is known as Germany’s oldest manufacturer of precision balances, with more than 180 years of experience in weighing and measurement technology.
From its early precision balances, KERN has expanded its portfolio to more than 5,000 products, including laboratory balances, industrial scales, medical scales, calibration weights, microscopes, refractometers, measuring instruments, software, and accessories. Its products are designed for a wide range of environments, from laboratories, research facilities, and healthcare settings to factories and industrial testing applications.
