Bird 4314C RF Wattmeter

Purpose and Function

The Model 4314C Thruline Wattmeter is an insertion‐type RF wattmeter designed to measure power flow and load

match in 50 ohm coaxial transmission lines. It is intended for use on CW, AM, FM, SSB, TV, and pulse signals only.

Bird 4314C PEP RF Wattmeter is similar to the Bird Model 43 Wattmeter but with electronic circuitry to accurately measure peak envelope power present in amplitude modulated signals such as AM broadcast, single side-band and TV video transmitters. The circuitry is powered by either (2) standard 9V alkaline batteries or an optional A.C. adapter.
