Advanced Energy (AE) was founded in Colorado, USA, in 1981 and specializes in precision power and control technologies. Starting as a company focused on power control solutions, Advanced Energy has gradually expanded its portfolio through research and development as well as strategic acquisitions, building a broad ecosystem of power conversion, measurement, and control solutions. Today, AE serves a wide range of industries, including semiconductor manufacturing equipment, industrial and medical applications, data centers, and telecommunications, with operations worldwide.
In 2018, Advanced Energy acquired the Trek and Monroe product lines. These product lines provide highly accurate and cost-effective electrostatic detection and measurement solutions for applications in semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, medical, defense, solar PV, and test and measurement. The AE Trek product line also offers high-voltage amplifiers and power supplies.
